EWOT & AGING:
The amount of pressure in the body that transfers oxygen to the cells is what tells me if someone is going to benefit from EWOT or they are not. Those that have lower than 97 on the pulse oximeter usually do not have the best oxygen potential. Those much lower than 97 usually are sick all the time and don't feel like working out in the first place. Peak capacity is when the level is 100 to 110mm of pressure that pushes 02 to the blood from the lungs. Super athletes can use EWOT much better than those that are unhealthy and not active. Most athletes have the pressure of oxygen the same pressure as the pressure in the lungs (alveoli). Most people people in their 20s and 30s have a pressure of 95mm. Those that are out of shape have a pressure of 70mm and this is when I would lower the oxygen concentrator to 2 to 4 liters per minute. Also the blood needs to dissolve the oxygen and those with sludge blood and acidic bodies can have a hard time carrying oxygen even when it's at 96%. If the oxygen is not dissolved in the blood it can't absorb into the capillary membranes in the body (see my page on over oxygenation when the body is not absorbing this concentrated oxygen from an Ewot bag). If the oxygen is not being absorbed, it will NOT be released and be used.
Note: The pulse oximeter is not accurate in a sense when someone is not just trying to see what the oxygen level of their blood is. The pulse oximeter DOES NOT show how well the person's body transfers oxygen. The body can be at 99.99% on the meter but this is NOT a sign of the usable state of the oxygen. Having high oxygen in the blood is not the same as saturating the body's cells with oxygen.

Note: those that are over 60 years old do not have pressures in the lung (110mm) like those that are much younger. In order for the pressure in the body to meet the requirements so it is not inadequate in carrying oxygenated blood to the hypoxic tissues that need oxygen the most, sometimes heating the core temperature 3 degrees higher (shown by the rectal thermometer) is not enough. Using pressurized air should force the pressure in the body closer or above 110mm of pressure so that oxygen can penetrate the cells. See my page on Hyperbaric chambers and EWOT. I do both about 5 to 6 times a week. I sleep in my chamber and wake up close to 100% on my pulse oximeter. Doing Ewot when my body saturation is at maximum capacity since I used my oxygen concentrator under pressure the entire night in my sleep, it is a game changer when doing my morning workout. Working out when the body is at 100% oxygen capacity and then doing Ewot minutes after I get out gives me a workout like nothing else.
