Ewot Bag comparison
There are so many EWot bags it is hard to choose. So, I've reviewed nearly all the different brands and it helped me decide which ones are best and which are better for different uses. Some of the Ewot bags are better built for home use while some Ewot bags are built more for commercial use that have a one or 2 ply material. Some are just one big piece of inflatable plastic while others have nylon that is more protective. Some Ewot bags are very cheap and may last less than 5 years while others are built for at least 20 years.
Some Ewot bags are better fits that are smaller and some people want the bigger ewot bags. A bag around 900 liters can be 6 foot tall by 5 foot wide or can be longer at 8 foot and 4 foot wide. I prefer the taller and less wide bags.
Ewot Bag types - how to choose between the brands.
Some people will just hang the bag on the ceiling and not going to be carrying it around and may want a commercial grade bag. Some bags are just a big piece of plastic while others are made with nylon Ripstop fabric to protect the inner layer that holds the oxygen. Another big thing that some people might not be aware of is that some Ewot bags smell like plastic and it doesn't go away for a long time.. The really cheap ewot bags are not made with food grade mat substances for the composition of the ewot reservoir. The really high end Ewot bags have air tight seals and are not sealed with less than 3/4 inch bands. Some companies use really small welds and they leak but not in the beginning but do not last long like the strongest bags.
Note: the plastic membrane Ewot bags are fine that have no protective cover if they are not going to be abused and never moved around. Otherwise, I recommend the Ewot bags that have the protective cover.
Note: those that want an ewot bag that has no off-gassing of any plastic smells (this doesn't bother some people), the type that oxygen leaks pass the stitches from the "sown" ewot bag types will have to deal with always having to inflating it each time for each use as these types can't be stored for long.
